This is a homemade rotating speaker.
The assembly was taken from an old Hammond spinet organ. I simply built the box and added some rudimentary controls.
The top unit is the amplifier. It is an old Wollensack T1500 tube tape machine converted to a guitar amplifier.
The unit has fast and slow speeds and sounds like a tremolo,
D.I. Box
This is a homemade DI box based on the Wolf-Box schematic. More popularly referred to as the "Motown DI." It is a simple design but it requires hard to find parts. I was lucky enough to come across 3 Triad A11-J transformers(the magic ingredient). That is the big grey can shape in the guts photo. I use this to record bass guitar all the time.
Shure M67 to 1176
I gutted this old shure M67 and built a Rev A 1176 inside it.
I will upload photographs of the completed unit soon. The photograph on right is the unit before the mod.
